What's new wherever I am
This past week wasn't nearly as hectic as the previous. Still working to find appropriate homes for a few items and switching locations of others to make them handier. Only one or two things we still haven't found but we haven't put the dining room together yet so I'm holding out hope we'll find things in those boxes. Got curtains hung in both the living room and bedroom. Both improve the looks as well as taking away some of the hollow sounds when you are talking.
Dining room set, counter stools and entrance table all get delivered this week (Wednesday). We also ordered a new mattress for our bed (replacing a 12 yr. old one) and it gets delivered Tuesday. We also had a few final touches finished up by our contractor as well as other tasks.
As can be expected, we've been home two weeks, and the weather has gone steadily downhill. It's March so we should have known better than to hope for the good stuff.
Haven't had time to play golf nor have the temps been good enough anyway. The lake is way down so boating is not really an option either. Again, yucky weather. This coming week doesn't look much better. Cool and rainy (and we need the rain).
