It looks the weather pattern that we had all spring has finally turned to more summer-like conditions. Hot, Humid & mostly dry. We have had some spotty rain but not the downpours we were experiencing are gone.
On a surprising but positive note I got my mower into the shop early last Monday and they had the tire replaced by Thursday afternoon. I was not expecting service nearly that fast especially this time of year. Plus, the cost was less than $200. Again, it's a John Deere so I expected several hundred just for the tire. Again, I was pleasantly shocked.
We had weekend guests over the weekend. June's niece & her husband joined us for her (Julie) birthday. I cooked a corned beef one night and grilled [pork tenderloins the next. For our first time this season we also got the boat out for a nice ride and our guests enjoyed a swim in the lake. This was two years in a row so we may be starting a tradition.
